Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated June 25, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what is and isn't allowed when using InterviewOS. It is part of our Terms of Service. InterviewOS is a preparation and assistance tool — it is not a tool for deception.
1. Use it honestly
InterviewOS is designed to help you prepare thoroughly and to assist you in settings where assistance is allowed. Every generated answer is grounded in materials you provide, and unsupported claims are flagged rather than fabricated. You agree to use the Service consistent with that design.
2. Respect the rules of any assessment
You are responsible for knowing and following the rules of any interview, exam, certification, proctored assessment, or other evaluation you take part in. Do not use the Service to obtain assistance where it is prohibited, or to circumvent a proctor’s, examiner’s, or employer’s rules. Many assessments forbid outside assistance; in those settings, use InterviewOS only for preparation beforehand.
3. Do not misrepresent yourself
You must not use the Service to:
- Fabricate qualifications, experience, credentials, or identity, or present invented experience as your own.
- Defeat, disable, or work around the grounding and honesty safeguards that flag unsupported answers.
- Impersonate another person or have someone else impersonate you in an assessment.
4. Prohibited content & conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any law or the rights of others.
- Generate or distribute unlawful, harassing, hateful, or deceptive content.
- Capture audio or recordings of others without the consent required by applicable law.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of, or breach the security of, the Service or its infrastructure.
- Abuse the credit system, share entitlement tokens, exceed plan limits, or attempt to access features you are not entitled to.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or build a competing product from the Service except as permitted by law.
5. Recording & consent
The live copilot may process interview audio. You are responsible for ensuring you have any consent required by the laws of your jurisdiction (and those of other participants) before recording, transcribing, or processing a conversation.
6. Fair use of the managed proxy
The managed credit-backed proxy exists to keep costs predictable and shared fairly. Automated, bulk, or abusive consumption that degrades the Service for others, or attempts to bypass the hard credit cap, is prohibited.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or take other action we consider appropriate, with or without notice. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent termination.
8. Reporting & contact
To report misuse or ask whether a use is permitted, contact [email protected]. This AUP works together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
