Terms of Service

1. The Service

InterviewOS is an AI-assisted interview preparation and real-time interview-assistance product. The desktop application runs locally and can listen to interview audio, transcribe it, and generate concise answers grounded in materials you provide. Some features rely on a managed cloud proxy that calls third-party AI providers on your behalf.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. In summary, you agree that you will not:

• Use the Service to deceive an employer, proctor, or examiner where assistance is prohibited, or to violate the rules of any assessment, certification, or interview you have agreed to.
• Misrepresent your qualifications or submit fabricated experience. The Service is designed to ground answers in your own materials and to flag unsupported claims; you must not attempt to defeat those safeguards.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or abuse the Service or its credit system, or attempt to exceed your plan’s limits.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

4. Subscriptions, credits & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor (Stripe). Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance; usage debits credits and hard-stops at zero. You may purchase additional credits. Credits have no cash value and, except as required by law, are non-refundable and do not roll over unless stated for your plan.

• Trial. New accounts may receive a limited trial (for example, one interview up to a fixed length). Trial limits are shown in your account and may change.
• Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation. You may cancel anytime; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Past-due / failed payments. If payment fails, paid features may be locked until the balance is resolved.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the materials you provide (such as your CV, stories, and job descriptions) and to outputs generated for you. You grant InterviewOS a limited license to process your content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. 6. AI output disclaimer

AI-generated answers and analyses may be inaccurate or incomplete. The Service is an aid, not a guarantee of any outcome. You are solely responsible for what you say and submit in any interview or assessment, and for ensuring assistance is permitted. InterviewOS makes no warranty that the Service will help you obtain any job or result.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by InterviewOS and protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service as permitted.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, InterviewOS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
